Stein and Strategies for Philanthropy have been engaged by a wide range of clients including anti-poverty organizations, youth centers, colleges and universities, schools, the visual and performing arts, and healthcare. Stein raised $200 million while working on operating, capital, and endowment campaigns at the New Israel Fund, University School of Milwaukee, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee, and the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. At each of these locations, she raised the largest gift in history and thanks to her work.
Stein is a frequent lecturer for local colleges and the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee. A published author, she has published one nonfiction book (awarded sixth place on Wisconsin's Booklist) and her fourth book, A Valentine to America: What Happened to Our Country?, will be published on February 14, 2018. Stein is published regularly in business publications.
